2008 Angeles Crest 100 Photos - AC 100 (2007's photos)
These 87 photos of the 2008 A.C. 100 were taken while walking backwards on the Burckhardt Trail between Cooper Canyon (approx. 5730') and Buckhorn Campground (approx. 6600') on 9/13/08. The detour of the Pacific Crest Trail closure brought the race along the Angeles Crest Highway and then down through the campground and onto the trail. The course turned left on P.C.T. right before the first shots of the water crossing below. They were all taken between 10:45 AM when Jorge Pacheco came running by and 1:45 PM when I got back to Buckhorn. These shots are in order of arrival. My apologies if we did not get a shot of you or if I could not i.d. you from your bib. Some groups of runners only had one person photographed and some of you were just running quicker than the camera could focus! Congratulations to all the entrants for taking on this grand endeavor. Just starting the race is an accomplishment. Chris
